Since 2005, Allegro Music Center has been helping young musicians and vocalists tone their craft, whether it involves mastering a six-string or hitting the high notes. Allegro is located at 707 Devon Ave., offers private lessons in guitar, piano/keyboard, drums and other percussion, violin, flute, saxophone, clarinet, voice and even the ukulele. Since the store opened, the number of students has been growing steadily, and there are currently 200 private lessons offered. Students range in age from three to 83.

At Allegro, our teachers start piano and keyboard students using time-tested, traditional methods. Reading notes, learning fingerings and counting are essential skills that all of our students acquire. Our entire staff is willing and able to teach everything from classical to jazz to modern pop, giving students the option to explore all types of music.

We are the only music schools in the area that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests. Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool "Musical Ladder" wristbands that they can show off to their friends. The Musical Ladder is our unique method of music education that you can only get here.
