In order to understand the full benefits the piano students will receive through the instruction of our piano teaching staff, one must understand the history and the tradition of teaching and performing classical piano music. Lepskaya's School of Music is the current generation of teachers and performers whose training can be traced directly back to Beethoven.

History Of Our Location

Park Ridge IL, where we are located, is a Chicago suburb approximately 15 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. Park Ridge celebrated its centennial year in 2010. The town began its existence as a main location where brick was made for the city of Chicago, thus giving it the name Brickton at one point in its existence.

Student Recitals

Report

Student recitals are held twice in December and twice in June every school year. Participation in the recitals is not mandatory. However, most of our students choose to participate in the recitals because it gives them a chance to show their parents, peers and family friends what they have learned during the school year.
