Heavenly Pianos was founded in 1999 by master piano technician Mark Stanielun and seasoned piano salesman Dan Kastenmeier. Starting as a 1,000-square-foot appointment-only shop with 15 pianos, we expanded to our current Mount Prospect location housing over 100 instruments. Our facility includes a workshop, climate-controlled storage, and private teaching studios. I have purchased an upright piano from Heavenly Pianos for Bach to Rock Music School in Arlington Heights and also had Mark come out and tune our pianos at both Northbrook and Arlington Heights locations. I cannot say enough great things about Mark and Heavenly Pianos. Fantastic care and patience when purchasing the instrument as well as an incredibly efficient and accurate job tuning. I HIGHLY recommend this store and Mark for any piano purchasing/tuning or repair needs.

I had been earnestly looking to purchase a new Grand Piano for about 6 weeks when we made our visit to Heavenly. Bob was very gracious with his time and introduced us to various lovely instruments. I ultimately gravitated towards a restored 6'2' Steinway Grand, and when I voiced concerns on the voicing in the upper keys, Bob immediately agreed with me and suggested his technicians would address it if I was interested in playing the piano again afterwards.
I came back 1 week later and they had done an excellent job. Bob's no-nonsense, direct approach helped us reach an agreeable price quickly and within another week, I had my dream piano delivered + assembled in my house. Thanks Bob and Heavenly team!

This place was Wonderful! No high pressure sales! They were incredibly knowledgeable and the owners delivered my Piano. How wonderful is that! I called and visited a few other places but the selection was not as good. In addition when talking to other stores it was apparent they did not really know what they were talking about. In stark contrast and what impressed me most about Heavenly Piano was their comprehensive knowledge and sincere love of the instruments. Our salesmen's name is Jim who is also the store manager and I would recommend anyone looking to buy a piano talk to him first!
