Christina loves on the instruments like they're her own. She enjoys the total process of dissecting the problems, taking apart the instrument (in this case a 1935 coronet), cleaning each piece carefully, tapping out dents to bring back optimal sound and what not. I know this because she explained what she did, and what I was paying for. She's incredibly affordable and wonderful to work with. I give her ten stars!

As a professional clarinetist and private instructor in the Triangle for 20 years, I can honestly say that Christina Thompson is an incredible resource for instrument repair. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable, incredibly responsive, willing to sit with you and fine-tune everything to meet your needs, and just a friendly, considerate person to work with. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my instruments and I've been thoroughly impressed with her work.
Her availability is incredible and there's been an occasion where I needed something fixed quickly and she was more than happy to help me out. Give Summerglen Music a try for your next repair and I promise you will be as pleased as I have been!
