We offer acoustic and electric guitar instruction covering multiple genres from rock to classical. Lessons focus on chord transitions, fingerpicking patterns, and music theory application. Students progress from basic strumming to advanced techniques like sweep picking and improvisation. Our instructors specialize in matching playing style development with individual musical interests.
Vocal Training
Our voice program develops proper technique across musical styles including pop, classical, and musical theater. Students learn breath control, vocal warmups, and repertoire interpretation. Instructors emphasize healthy vocal production while expanding range and dynamic control. Performance preparation includes stage presence and microphone technique for recital participants.
Early Childhood Music
Designed for infants through preschoolers, these interactive classes introduce musical concepts through movement, singing, and rhythm instruments. Parent participation fosters bonding while developing foundational skills like beat awareness and pitch recognition. Our curriculum prepares young children for future instrumental study through playful, developmentally appropriate activities.

Attended one of the online lessons that Musical Beginnings put on during the Covid 19 pandemic. It was such a fun, friendly, and enjoyable class. They've started on site lessons again and I can't wait to attend next time I can!

My one-year-old LOVES music classes with Teacher Linda! We have a great time each week (yes, the Grown-Up & Me classes are also fun for the adults :) and I am amazed by how music encourages my daughter to learn and explore. Highly, highly recommend.

I was highly disappointed with this music school, the classes were lame, overpriced, inconsistent and overcrowded, but the worst part about it was how rude and disrespectful the instructor was to my child and me, cannot really recommend it to anyone.

We started out in the Mommy & Me classes when our children were young and ended up taking private lessons. It's a great place to introduce the wonders of music as well as being a friendly community. We moved away after nearly 10 years, but kept up the music and our daughter is now heading off to college as a music performance major.
