A Typical Lesson

All voice lessons take place in the studio in North Seattle, and every session is recorded to CD for later reference and practice. Andy will guide you through professional vocalization, warm-up, and breathing exercises, and he'll accompany you on the grand piano in the appropriate key for your voice.

Besides being a wonderful singer in his own right, Andy Shaw is one of Seattle's most experienced and talented vocal coaches. With over 20 years of experience singing and teaching singing in the Seattle area, Andy has helped countless students build their own unique singing voice. Andy has studied singing and music at the University of Washington, Western Washington University, and Cornish College of the Arts. He taught singing at Cornish College for five years prior to opening his own private studio in North Seattle, where he is today.
