My sons started piano there. One started at 3 and the other at 5. Both boys are adhd and are very difficult. The teacher Gabby has incredible kindness and patience with them. They both did very well. The school is very accommodating and worked endlessly with me. As a busy mom of 3, juggling schedules is a never ending battle and I felt the staff was always there to help. Communication is excellent and easy as they are able to text back and forth with me, which these days with screaming kids is invaluable. I am so grateful to this school for starting my kids on their musical journey.

We have had the best experience at Fishkill music academy! My daughter takes voice lessons there with Tayla who is wonderful. Besides voice, they have so many other things to enjoy and choose from :) The staff is the friendliest, especially Christina who works at the front desk! She helps us with literally everything. Thank you Christina!

My boys have been doing drum lessons with Darshan for months and they really enjoy the time they spend learning. Everyone is really nice and accommodating. I highly recommend choosing Fishkill Music Academy.

My daughter joined with no prior experience. Her teacher has been amazing and learns at her pace. He is interactive and meets her where she is each lesson. As a parent who does not know much about music they make it easy to encourage her through practice and be able to assist her outside of lesson. If she is sick she gets a lesson from her teacher to work through when she is feeling better. The location is clean, nice and staff are very friendly. She has now been with them for over a year and still gets excited for class. It has been the best decision we have made!

Just amazing! My daughter attended another local music school for two years. She has made more progress and development attending New Windsor Music for the past 5 months than in that entire two year period!!! We are beyond pleased!!!

My son and I have been students at the New Windsor Music Academy for over a year now. I was a complete novice to playing any instrument while my son had played the baritone in middle school. We chose to learn to play the guitar, and found New Windsor Academy on the Internet. We have been very pleased. Our instructor is patient and helpful in addressing our disparate learning styles, and is always able to find common ground on which to build.
This could be difficult with 35 years difference in our ages but the lessons are entertaining and informative, with many tangents but ultimately a single musical thread. The weekly lesson not only teaches us the skills of playing the guitar but also pushes us to continue to progress. I cannot put a price on how valuable the experience of learning guitar has been for me.
