My teenage daughter has been taking lessons with Larry for just over a year. His approach is different from her past voice teachers. Larry shows his students how to use and protect their voice as a musical instrument. He focuses on warm-ups, breath control, assertiveness and authenticity. He shows you how to approach different songs and weather conditions to prepare you for auditions and performances. Hes also available by Skype!
We needed some help with a callback piece for a musical audition when Larry was out of town. I asked Larry if he was available, and we set up a video conference for the very next day. On the conference call, he adjusted the way that she approached the consonants in the song, and it made a huge difference. She ended up getting the part!
Larry really cares about his students and he can work his magic from a thousand miles away. He really is amazing at what he does. As long as you put in the effort, Larry can help you transform your voice into the best it can be.

Ive been practicing with Larry for over a year now, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I have made. Over this period of time I have been in numerous shows, specially in community theatre. Recently, I participated in a show were singing was integral component. Unfortunately I was sick with bronchitis throughout the duration of the show. But with the vocal warmups and other tips provided by Larry, the results during preformence were unparalleled.

My daughter was referred to Larry from a friend of mine. She had an interest in singing but really needed training. Well I can say it has been a year and a half and my daughter's voice has become stronger and stronger with each lesson. I get goose bumps listening to her perform each week. This past spring, I started taking vocal lessons with Larry. The way he works with the vocalist is so effective because he basically pulls you into your body to teach you by helping you visualize the areas needed to strengthen and train every muscle and area within, that helps vocalization to see how each part works. Especially for an artist, like myself, the visual drawings and explanations he uses really make you understand how to mechanize the areas and bring the instrument out.
