My daughter has been taking Music lessons with 4/4 music school in Plano for the last 2 years. We are incredibly happy with the lessons given by Ms. Amanda and Ms. Wesson. Even though classes are online(in person is available now) we have never felt the need of going in person as we get the same quality being remote. The administrators are highly responsive and support you in every need. I would say this is an awesome place to take your passion to the next level.

My daughter takes piano lessons in Plano, and we love it. Nikko is the best. In addition to play the songs from book, he also teaches how to identify keys by listening to music and play a song even without notes. Highly recommend.

My 2 daughters have been taking violin lessons here for a few months, and I think it's been going great! My 15 yr old is not a beginner but wanted to improve her skills. Her teacher Johana has been able to teach her technique tricks to fine tune her playing and bring out the color of the pieces. It is amazing to discover that there is still so much to learn and I think it has motivated my daughter to practice more.

My 8 yr old is taking lessons with Jaime, and she is very patient and explains why things have to be done a certain way, which my daughter really likes. It helps her better understand what the exercises want her to achieve. Jaime is also starting to teach her some advanced bow techniques, which make her feel so 'grownup'.

I am very satisfied with my daughter's progress in piano. Her teacher is very catchy in finding my daughter's weakness. My daughter has learned for a year and now she can play piano quite well at her level.

Ian has been an excellent coach/teacher for Sanjay. His approach to music, being friendly with kids while underscoring the importance of discipline is much appreciated. Sanjay has musically grown considerably since starting classes with Ian starting from scratch. We also like his encouragement towards performing, preparations for that but without adding pressure to students. Overall we are super happy with Ian and 4/4 and looking forward to continue classes for Sanjay!

I've been taking guitar classes with this school for the last year - and I love them! They have nice and convenient locations, so I've never had problems to get to them after work. 30-minute classes work great too. A teacher can teach you a lot during that time - just don't forget to schedule time for practicing :) They also provide an option of participating in student concerts, it's a great opportunity to play in front of people.

And the last, but not least - my teacher Mike Kohary is absolutely great! He shows different techniques to make it easier to study guitar and also provides songs (if you're interested) that you like so you can learn faster and have even more fun!

Our kids have been attending 4/4 School of Music for 1+ years. My 8 year old started with piano and recently moved to guitar. My 4 year old is learning piano. The staff here is amazing - so friendly, helpful and great with the kids. Every interaction is a positive one. I would highly recommend me Katya for younger piano students. She has just the right amount of silly and encouraging attitude that makes them want to succeed. For guitar, my son really enjoys James and is super impressed by his musicianship. This is a great environment for young musicians.

I have no issue with my son's teacher. He is actually great. My issues is the restroom. There's barely any warm water coming out of the toilet, the soap is water down and the hand dryer doesn't even give enough power to dry your hands. I spoke with the lady/manager at the front desk. She said, the hot water is controlled by the building and they don't want to provide paper towel because kids put in the toilet. I find it hard to believe because the restaurant next door has plenty of running hot water in their restroom. I think the owner can provide better supplies and plenty of warm water if they want to.

My 10-year old grade daughter has been taking violin lessons here for a year and it has been a GREAT experience. Very convenient location and scheduling, and our teacher Bridget is excellent--very patient, knowledgeable, and accommodating of what kind of music my daughter liked to play best. The school also has an optional recital that is a very good (and low pressure) performance experience. Highly recommended!

I started taking guitar lessons with Ryan almost two years ago kind of on a whim not really knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised and have enjoyed my weekly lessons very much. Ryan has been great and is very talented and knowledgeable and while my greatest fault is not practicing like I know I should (must practice!!), Ryan never faults me for that and is always eager to answer my questions and show me something new, explain technical aspects of my instruments or even delve into a bit of music theory. Im always greeted with a smile and Hi, how are you doing today? in reception at the Lynnwood facility and always feel welcome. Sadly, I have had to withdraw due to other obligations, but I enthusiastically recommend Ryan and 4/4 Music and who knows...maybe I will be able to return some day. Thanks Ryan and 4/4 Music!

We have had such a great experience at 4/4! My son has been taking guitar lessons with Joey for a year, and he loves it. Joey began by asking my son what kind of music he likes and wants to play, and then started teaching him to play it. I love that he doesn't start with boring guitar books, but actually teaches the kids to play music they love. My son looks forward to each lesson. The office staff has always been very friendly, and is super accommodating whenever I need to change or cancel lessons. I highly recommend 4/4 School of Music.

A big shout out to 4/4 Beaverton School of Music. My son has been taking lessons for 5 years and I have nothing negative to say. Josiah has made the classes interesting where he teaches what Jason needs to know and also lets him pursue what he wants to do. Jason loves playing by ear and he is very good at that. Josiah lets him to that and he even encourages him to add his own swag. I have sat in the classes several times and watch their interactions.

I'm impressed! I would recommend 4/4 Beaverton school of music. Jason has been taking piano lessons since second grade and he had few teachers who did not quite understand his ability. 4/4 Beaverton school of music did not only provide the platform but also encouraged him to run with it. Josiah made sure that he also spends his time reading notations. In 5 years Jason has progressed tremendously. Unfortunately we have to bow out as he has new adventures around the corner - a freshman in college. Thank you 4/4 Beaverton school of music for making our journey so memorable.

One of our kids takes drum lessons and another is learning piano at 4/4 in Frisco, and our experience has been excellent, exactly what we were looking for to guide our beginning music students! Teachers are professional and work well with our kids individual personalities. Most importantly for us, the prices are reasonable and considerably cheaper than all of the other Music schools I first researched, without sacrificing the quality of instruction.

As an adult with zero musical background, I found 4/4 School of music to be my perfect introduction to guitar. The 30 minute one-on-one lessons were ideal for reviewing my progress and expanding my skills as I became ready. I also appreciated that the school provides a blank lesson book that my teacher and I could write in to establish what to practice between lessons (otherwise I would forget). I attended the Redmond location and had Colt as my teacher.

He is a skilled musician but also patient and non-judgmental which is exactly what I needed from a teacher of such a precise art form. I unfortunately had to stop my lessons due to busy life constraints but when I'm ready to resume the practice I will definitely return to 4/4! PS: The Redmond location has a decent amount of parking right in front of the building which I always find to be helpful.

If have been taking guitar lessons with JT Phillips at 44 Music for about a year now. JT is a fabulous teacher with a depth of knowledge, skill, talent and above all patience that is hard to beat. 44 Music is very lucky to have him on their team. I highly recommend JT and 44. I came in to learn to play a few songs and walked out with a "degree" in Music Theory with took my playing to a whole other level that I never imagined.

My 10 year old son decided he wanted to take up guitar this year, so I researched music schools and chose 4/4 school of music because of its close proximity to our home. After just a few lessons, my son not only really enjoys it, but he looks forward to it each week. The teachers are very nice and all seem to have a very broad spectrum of musical knowledge and instruments and really care about the students. I highly recommend 4/4 school of music.

I have taken piano lessons from Joey Lyon for about 7 months now. He is an amazing instructor. We discussed what I hoped to get out of the lessons early on, and he has helped me consistently progress in the direction I want ever since. There has been a mix of types of lessons and things to practice - from songs I choose, lessons books I move through at my own pace, to theory, and online practices.

Considering he is great at piano instruction, I suspect his guitar lessons (his main instrument of choice) would be equally great - for both novice and advanced students. As a small note about 4/4 Music - they are always very responsive and easy to work with. I am pleased to have gone with them and with Joey.
