I've taken guitar lessons for a few years here and love it! My instructor is always up to help me with whatever song I'm working on (usually something from Metallica haha) I also really enjoy playing in a student band! It's really helped me improve my improv skills and even pick up some vocals. Highly recommend the Music Academy of Acadiana!

Such a warm and happy place to work/take lessons! I worked for The Music Academy for 6 months and through those months I was such a happy employee! They truly know how to take care and keep their employees happy! Every student that walked into the building was happy and enjoyed their lessons there. They tailor the lessons around what the child/adult wants to learn. They take true pride in their business and make it an amazing place to be!
If you are looking for lessons where you or your child is treated as the person they are and not just another student, or looking for a place where you or your child can truly grow in their musical journey, THIS. IS. THE. PLACE!

The Music Academy of Acadiana is the place to go if you or your child wants to learn how to sing, perform, produce, play an instrument, and/or find their passion for music. They have a great team of qualified and passionate professionals who will work diligently to help you improve and give you tools to succeed. They are also willing and able to work with any hectic schedule you may have. I became a better musician during my time there and would encourage anyone looking to improve musically to choose Music Academy of Acadiana.

Music Academy of Acadiana has very talented, caring and friendly staff. If you have a child wanting to learn an instrument or just trying to find themselves, please consider enrolling them here. My daughter started guitar lessons here 6 years ago when they were Guitar Acadiana. At the time, my daughter was very shy and timid. Tim and Jim believed in her and helped her believe in herself and find her inner voice. She is now singing and has competed in several competitions, including an audition at America's Got Talent. Thank you so much Music Academy of Acadiana.

Attending guitar classes with Josh at the Music Academy of Acadiana has been an incredible experience. As a 29 year-old, I was a little nervous about being such a beginner, but Josh and the staff are so encouraging that I felt completely at ease from my first lesson. I have been taking lessons for 6 months and they are the highlight of my week. I now feel competent enough to play more songs than I could have ever imagined. Thank you Music Academy of Acadiana, you have changed the way I listen to and play music in a new, thrilling way.

Mrs. Angel has taken Reagan from zero experience on the clarinet to being voted Most Improved by her school band class in less than a year! She understands Reagans learning and attention challenges and adjusts her teaching style accordingly! She is also helping Kennedy Rose develop her God-given voice talent. Sarah and Angel at Musical Theatre Camp are amazing teachers and creating such a fun atmosphere for creative expression and learning! Kendra and Mandy at the front desk are extremely helpful and super sweet!

I Learned more in less than a year that I could have ever learned on own. Instructors are patient and teach you whatever you want to learn. Better than that, they are great musicians themselves. Playing in the student band really gives you the opportunity to put your new talent to use. Playing with other musicians is a great motivator to better yourself musically and it's fun as well. Rating 5 out of 5.

Don't wait any longer to get started at this school. I originally thought I was too old but I've learned that I should have started real lessons years ago. All of the videos and books won't get you playing any faster than face to face instruction. My instructor encourages me to excel. Band has given me a rare opportunity to play with others and experience the pressure of performing in front of others. I wish the school would have been around when I was just starting. I might be on tour right now...who knows?.....lol Rating 5 out of 5.
