Our boys starting taking lessons via Zoom in October 2020 due to COVID and we have had the best experience with our teacher, Ms. Haley! She has been patient, engaging and able to give quality instruction. We are likely going to stay with this format for a while because it is so convenient. In addition, the communication with staff at the school has been great -- quick, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend GP Music Academy!

I'd like to share a very pleasant experience with the academy. I go to the location in Grosse Pointe. First, I want to start by saying how talented and what a wonderful teacher and a coach Cheryl is. I believe, that I have improved ten fold ( that is, including my peers) since I've started taking lessons with her. Second, Kala, the desk manager Is also exceptionally good at handling every possible situation I've dealt with the academy. Last, but not the least, after have been attending the academy for a while, I had run into a little hiccup with some other person at the reception, to which the owner of the academy was not only very understanding, but also very accommodating and generous with handling the situation. I'd like thank all of you for making this a wonderful experience. And please keep up the great work!

I take my girls for Piano lessons and my son for Drum lessons. Their teachers are so nice and patient. Grosse Pointe music Academy is an amazing place to take your children music lessons. Everyone is so nice and helpful with everything. Love this place and I highly recommend it.

Just experienced our 1st week with GPMA-GP. My daughter attended Rock Band Camp. The performances by the kids were amazing and the instructors were so kind and created an atmosphere which included great instruction while boosting confidence in our kids gifts.

I absolutely love teaching here. A great environment for both kids and adults. Our desk girl/secretary Kala is absolutely awesome. Our owner Henry is a very kind and good man. I am proud to teach here and highly recommend all of our staff to work with you or your kids. The efficiency with which both Henry and Kala manage to run this place is unprecedented.

We had my daughter's 7th birthday at GPMA earlier this month and it was a blast! The kids had so much fun, learning rhythm and trying out all the instruments. Toepher and Dave were great instructors and helpful throughout the entire party. My friends and family loved it and said how creative and fun it was. I would highly recommend GPMA as an option for a birthday event. And, piano lessons may be in my daughter's future at GPMA! Great place and very inspiring!

My daughter is taking voice lessons through the GPMA with De'Sean. I have absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say about him and the entire staff. After my daughter leaves her lesson she is enthusiastic to practice and improve but more importantly her confidence in herself and her progress is bolstered which is no doubt due to the superior teaching style of her instructor. I have seen first hand the other instructors styles and lessons as well and can with confidence say they are all true professionals with a passion for teaching and the ability to connect with students.

We participated in the Big Kid Music Together class and it allowed our daughter to enter the world of music with confidence. Through experiencing concepts such as tempo, rhythm, and improvisation, the class helped prepare her for the structure and skills needed for piano playing. The introduction to music concepts was key, but it also opened the door to the creative output of making music. She now very much enjoys playing piano and making music her own.

My children love music class because Ms. Hazimah does an amazing job exposing them to the sounds of different instruments that would appeal to a 3 year old. The class moves along in such a way that the sounds and activities hold the attentions of my twins for the entire 35 minutes.
