Beyond the singing, dancing, and instrument fun you'll have with your child and other young families in the area each week, you'll get. Community: We help you to foster connections with families in your area- making social and emotional connections through music making is what we do best. Quality: The Music Together curriculum has won multiple awards and are universally recognized for their quality. The songs are selected to help children experience a variety of musical styles, tonalities, and meters.
All of our teachers are registered Music Together teachers, and are accomplished musicians who have experience working with young children. Owner, Director, and Teacher, Rebbecca Oppedisano, B.A. in music education, M.A. in education, is a mother of three boys and an experienced elementary school music teacher.
What makes Music Together different? Research. Music Together was first offered to the public in 1987 and pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum. Today classes are offered all over the world including a lab school in Princeton, New Jersey.
Music Together has been by far the highest quality program we have found for our children. They have learned to love singing and making up songs, and the class has left a lasting mark on our whole family's musical interest and knowledge. My husband and I look forward to the class as much as the kids do.
Helping famililes share the joy of Music Together is one way that Bluebird Music Together can give back to our community. Through our scholarship fund, we are able to offer financial assistance to families who may not be able to afford the full cost of our program. Scholarships must be applied for, and are awarded at the director's discretion as funds are available.

We started going to BBMT when my LO was only a few weeks old (pre-pandemic) and it was a wonderful weekly outlet to get mama and baby out of the house. Throughout the pandemic, Rebbecca and team truly adapted to create environments for continued music making at home and then socially distanced outside and then safe indoor options - there was truly something for every comfort level which as a parent of an "under 5" is KEY and 10000% helped us to keep some semblance of a routine.
Although we are currently "on a break" as by 2.5 year old tries out some other activities I would not hesitate to restart BBMT with a sibling or recommend BBMT to any parent. My LO loves to dance and sing and these activities are definitely still part of our daily life. Oh, and the "Hello song" is MAGIC for fussy car rides.

We loved our BBMT experience (LO went from 14months to 3yo+/-) and I genuinely recommend it to all families. Now at 5.5yo, her career goal is "Rock Star". There all classes all over Syracuse so ita easy to find a class close to home or convenient to schedule. The pricing and makeup policy are very fair/reasonable. Only reason I don't say 5 stars is because our location (Dewitt) felt cramped as class became so popular (but that was pre-covid ) and I want to write an honest review.
