Mr. Aguilar is a great music teacher! He's been teaching our daughter for several years and she has learned so much. He tailors lessons to the individual and has a friendly and personable teaching style which is effective. It is obvious that he loves what he does and his love for music can't help but rub off on his students.

Skilled, patient & kind is how we would describe Mr. Aguilar. He makes learning fun for our child and keeps the lessons interesting. His organized manner and teaching style are a good fit for our child. We often hear students before and after our lesson play so skillfully. This increases our confidence in Mr. Aguilar's teaching and we look forward to our son's continued growth.

Mr. Aguilar is a phenomenal music teacher! He is great at being able to grow a student's music ability. I also love that he incorporates music history about different musicians or composers during some of the lessons. He is also very timely with communication and with lesson schedules. Great, neat studio and very reasonably priced!

We have been taking our kids to Carlos for over 2 years now. They are home schooled and I can say that Carlos is much more than a teacher of the many instruments, but teaches about the history and other details surrounding the music. The knowledge he transfers to our children is priceless. Much more than music lessons. I would HIGHLY recommend him. And he can teach in Spanish or English.

Great teacher. He mixes it up, a little bit of the classics and modern stuff too. He is an "encyclopedia " of knowledge. I know my kids learn from him but I also learn something new from him as well. I would recommend him to anyone that wants to take guitar or piano lessons, Biginners to advanced!

Mr. Aguilar is one of the best. My son loves to learn from a talented and wonderful teacher. He has great methods of teaching a beginner to more advanced students my daughter also took piano lessons with Carlos and we were impressed after the first lesson! He is truly one of those rare gems with so many music teachers in the area. I have to say he teaches from the heart.

My son enjoys lessons here while tremendously improving not only his piano playing but his knowledge of theory. Mr Aguilar provides a wonderful selection of traditional, modern and well written compilation songs. (Several of my family members also commented how much they enjoyed the variety of pieces at the Christmas recital this last year too.) Overall, we have gotten our money's worth and I am please by my son's enthusiasm for music, theory and piano.

My son has been taking lessons all year with Carlos. Not only is he very affordable but knowledgeable and great with my son. No music experience is needed as a student, he takes them well on their way in learning the instrument. As a parent, it is very comforting to deal with such a professional teacher who clearly has his student's best interest in mind.

I couldn't say enough kind things about Carlos.... my son has been taking guitar lessons for over a year and during this time, Carlos has become like family. This incredibly intelligent and talented man is a retired music teacher who plays a variety of instruments with ease. He puts twists on old songs making it funny for the kids (and to me, quite frankly) and composes original pieces as well. He's truly an artist. He works with your schedule and is extremely reasonable with his price. I highly encourage you to check him out! :)

Carlos is an extremely patient teacher with a wealth of music knowledge. He stays booked, but exhibits flexibility with scheduling. My daughter and I both take lessons from him. He is interesting and provides music theory, not just mechanics of playing an instrument.
