Report
The St. Louis Children's Choirs typically serves over 450 singers (ages 6 to 18), from more than 200 schools and 85 zip codes in Missouri and Illinois. These young artists bring their talent and love of classical, sacred, contemporary, and world music to concert stages for everyone to enjoy. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Barbara Berner, outstanding music directors train our young singers with diverse and challenging curriculum in seven different ensembles based on age and musical ability.
Choral Program

Students sing both classical and contemporary music written by master composers. Performing music that includes a variety of styles - jazz and gospel, sacred and secular, folk music and Mozart, - students grow in a choral setting where they are respected as young artists and perform with professional musicians.
Music Made Together

SLCC strives to elevate the vitality, value, and visibility of choral music education and its role in the arts community by offering sustainable, high quality activities that engage a diverse group of students, parents, educators and audiences. Community performances include nine concerts at under resourced elementary and middle schools, Griscom Juvenile Detention Center School, Children's Hospital, and senior living centers. A Conducting Workshop offers music educators advanced Choral Music Experience Institute (CME) accreditation courses.

Thank you for your interest in singing with us! We are auditioning throughout the season and would love to welcome your singer to our choir family. Audition times are available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from 3:30 - 5:30 PM. Please call or email us with your child's name, age/grade, and your preferred day of the week.
