Kids or adults wanting to try out an instrument without having to commit to a purchase can come in and rent an array of instruments. Our rentals are month to month and the first 3 months of rental payments can be applied to the purchase of the rental instrument or an instrument of the same family. Looking for a teacher? Repairs
Report
Our repair shop has been performing major & minor surgery on musical instruments for the past 40 years. We work on everything from ukulele's to upright basses and anything in between, including vintage repairs & restorations. Drop us a line if you've got questions regarding your specific instrument and we'll be happy to discuss it, however please be aware that many repairs need to be seen first hand for cost & timing estimates.

Of course you are, and Sylvan is more than happy to help you determine what that value is. Whether it's 100 years old or 10 years old we can give you an official appraisal of your most cherished possessions. Just bring your instrument to the repair shop at Sylvan Music, it is likely that we'll need to keep it overnight for an in-depth evaluation, and the fee is only $55.
