What instruments do you offer lessons for?
We offer lessons for piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, violin, cello, mandolin, drums, saxophone, trumpet, flute, harmonica, and voice. Contact us for availability on specific instruments.
What are your lesson time options?
Lessons are available Monday-Saturday from 9am to 8pm. Flexible scheduling accommodates different availability needs with 30, 45, or 60-minute session options for private instruction.
Do you teach young children?
We accept students starting at age 4. Readiness assessments consider ABC knowledge, direction-following ability, and focus duration to ensure successful learning experiences for early childhood music education.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
Makeup lessons require 24-hour cancellation notice. Up to 4 unscheduled makeup credits can be held at a time, with credits valid for 90 days. No-shows don't qualify for makeup sessions.
Are there performance opportunities?
We host Spring and Winter recitals annually. These events feature student performances with audience engagement activities, providing valuable stage experience in a supportive environment celebrating musical progress.
Do you offer group classes?
Yes, we provide small-group classes like Around the World in 10 Songs, Video Game Music Workshop, and Piano Foundations for Kids. These classes emphasize collaborative learning while developing specific musical skills.

We needed to get our daughter into an activity outside her video games. She had an interest in guitar so we gave it a shot and it has been so rewarding. She loves the teacher and says that they're patient and teach in a way that makes it fun learning. We went through some family issues over the summer and it had disrupted my daughters classes a bit. The music institute reached out with kindness and understanding. They gave her extra time on her lessons to make up for the missed appointments and they were accommodating and just plain wonderful I reccomend them 110%

My son took classical guitar lessons at MIR and really enjoyed his teacher, the lessons, and the pace at which he was able to advance. It was a wonderful experience for him. I would highly recommend MIR no matter what your musical interest.

My little nephew has been taking vocal, and piano lessons from here and he's been loving it! His piano skills have improved dramatically and his voice is getting much steadier. On my last visit the environment was very positive all around, and everybody there was very optimistic. I'm really happy to see my little nephew grow after every lesson :

I took voice lessons from Dina and I found her to be very supportive, I had not sung in years and wanted to be in a choir. She gave me voice Practices to do and she recorded songs I needed help with to sing, which helped so much. She Is a very special teacher.

I and my son have been talking lessons here for years, My neighbors also were so impressed by my enthusiasm that they took their kids there also. The whole family had a great time seeing my shy son perform lead guitar in a recital. The Music Institute offers one on one training making learning a fun activity.
