At The Music Connection, we are always growing and consistently adding new inventory. We hope to continue to be a vibrant and supportive resource for the local music community. We have five employees (we call them Music Connectors) on staff on staff here at the The Music Connection Chico location, and most of them are also part of the local music scene.

I am currently now teaching middle school English full time but you can still find me working occasionally with the Connection crew. These guys are my family! I play and teach piano and violin. I also really enjoy teaching voice lessons and having my students be able to learn what made them love music in the first place.

The Music Connection building at 3086 Bechelli Lane has been a local music landmark for over 40 years. The iconic Bernie's Guitar opened there in 1974, run by local music legend Bernie Baker. For 38 years he gave lessons, tuned instruments, outfitted musicians with the tools they needed, played and recorded jazz, and provided live performance space for local musicians.

The Music Connection is your family-friendly music store. Our waiting area has toys and an array of seating so parents and siblings can wait comfortably for their music student. Students may also wait safely in the waiting area before and after lessons. We like to think of ourselves as one big family -with diverse musical tastes!
