Bob Grieco has been the owner, manager and head of the faculty at The Musician's Studio in Red Bank, NJ since 1982 (He now offers online private lessons under the same business name). For nine years previous, he was an important member of the faculty and staff at The Guitar Study Center in New York City.

Mandolin Lessons

The Musician's Studio's Mandolin lessons are available at all levels and styles for all ages from eight to eighty. I'll teach you about the care and function of the mandolin's parts including the peg head and its tuning machines, the body, neck, fingerboard, strings, frets, tailpiece, and nut. You'll learn about the many structural and sonic differences of the various models of the mandolin such as F styles, A styles and O styles along with the historical changes that these small sized but big-hearted instruments have undergone.
About The Workbook

This theory workbook has been designed to teach the serious and not so serious musician. Although each chapter contains musical staves as its last page, the presentation of the information is somewhat unique in that there is not one chapter that deals directly with the five lines of the musical stave.
