Questions
What instruments do you teach?
We offer piano, violin, viola, cello, flute, voice, clarinet, saxophone, brass, and guitar lessons with specialized instructors for each instrument.
What ages do you accept?
Students aged 4 through adult receive age-appropriate instruction. Voice lessons start at age 10. Transfer students welcome at any skill level.
Are recitals mandatory?
Six annual recitals are optional but highly encouraged. Performance opportunities include themed events like holiday concerts and art-music collaborations.
How to start lessons?
Contact via phone or website to schedule a trial lesson. Teachers assess readiness for students under 6 and develop personalized learning plans.
Do you offer group lessons?

My violin instructor is excellent. He has been willing to have lessons virtually when needed. The Reed studio is also a comfortable and convenient facility to hold individual lessons. As a 62-year-old beginning student, I can not speak highly enough about my experience and would recommend this school to anyone interested in a high-quality learning environment.

Our family loves Reed Music! All four of our children have been students there for many years. They have received wonderful and professional instruction and grown in their skill level, as well as develop confidence. Each one of my children enjoys going to lessons and we value the relationship they have with their teachers. We are so grateful to have music and Reed as a part of our lives.

All the teachers at Reed are amazing. I've had four children learn piano and one guitar. I decided to start lessons myself at age 40. They are excellent for the entire range from prodigy, dedicated musician to casual learner. We've been going for twelve years now and are very happy.

I started taking lessons with Lisa two years ago after taking a hiatus from piano lessons for over 15 years. It has been a wonderful journey of rediscovering the piano. I have learned songs I never thought I would be able to play. Would highly recommend Lisa and Reed Music Studios!

We have loved our last couple of years at Reed! Both of my kids take lessons with Rita and she is wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful! I love the many opportunities for performances throughout the year and also availability to do different competitions. Overall, we've had a fabulous experience and definitely recommend!
