We offer a comprehensive arts education platform that nurtures talent from childhood through adulthood. Our Structured Courses in dance, theatre, music, and visual arts are tailored for students aged four to eighteen, blending technical skill with character development. The Professional Dance Company, resident at The Culture House, performs choreography that integrates gospel themes and worldclass technique. Our SemiProfessional Theatre program stages annual Summer Broadway productions on Kansas Citys premier stages, giving local actors a professional stage. Balladeer Theatre, a dedicated professional company, writes new works and supports emerging playwrights and actors. The Idea Kitchen lecture series, held twice yearly, brings regional cultural thinkers to discuss contemporary arts and creativity.

SemiProfessional Theatre

My daughter has attended several camps, participated in musical shows and classe. The quality of The Culture House programming is outstanding. More importantly the staff is compassionate and good role models. This is a very inclusive environment.

My daughter has been involved with theater and dance at The Culture House for 7 years and lives it! It is her second home! Safe, loving, encouraging environment with top notch professional instruction and performances. So glad we found them!

We Love, Love, Love, The Culture House. My 3 daughters have been involved in theater, dance, and voice classes for 5 years. The teachers are exceptional and the quality arts education my kids have received has been amazing. It is a very supportive and nurturing environment. If you are looking into the arts for your children, give The Culture House a try. Your kids will love it!

All of my children have had amazing experiences at The Culture House. The staff, parents, students and volunteers are like family. Our daughter has become more outgoing and my sons are more willing to try new things. The programming is top-notch and the shows could rival those of Off Broadway. We are fortunate to have TCH in our city!

Culture House is AMAZING! My son has been involved with several theater productions, classes, and camps since he was 3 years of age. There is theater, dance, music and art offered for ages and levels of interest. The nurturing environment created by the staff truly brings the BEST out of every student. The Culture House should be called the "Magic House" because it unlocks the MAGIC inside each child.
The staff is PHENOMENAL! They are creative, talented, and CALM. My son loves to perform; but he loves even more the relationships he has established at the Culture House. His favorite part of any day is time spent at the Culture House with his friends. It has become for us a home away from home. I would highly recommend letting the Culture House unlock the "Magic "inside of your family.

My children have been involved with programs at The Culture House for 9 years and it is their favorite place to be. The staff has been incredible and supportive and are talented individuals. It is a healthy environment with great kids and friendly staff. The programs have helped my children grow as artists and helped them become better people. We are so thankful for The Culture House.

My kids have been going to The Culture House for two and a half years and it has been a tremendous experience for them. Everyone there is so welcoming and the staff is extremely talented. It has become a second home for my kids. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the classes. We love it!
