My children enjoy coming to Jammin' Music every week and have really excelled with the instruments they play. My very introverted child has been taking piano lessons here for about 4 years and it has been the best investment ever!

She's still a shy kid, but she has found a hobby/skill that she enjoys. We've had to switch instructors here a few times for various reasons, and I can honestly say that they all know their stuff!

Recitals are held monthly at our First Fridays student showcases, which provide students with performance experience and build confidence. Recitals include both solo pieces and ensemble playing. Private lessons ensure that the student has the undivided attention of the teacher and can progress at a level suited to them individually.

Piano lessons are among the most popular at Jammin' Music in Long Beach, and we think that's a wonderful thing! When learning to play piano, it is relatively easy to start playing simple songs right away (press down on any key, and you get a nice sound), which is very encouraging to beginning students.

If you're a square one beginner, nylon string (classical style) guitars will be easiest on your fingers.
