Centre Music House

2017 marks our 44th year of serving the community by supporting music and the arts. We believe music has the power to bring joy and positive change into the lives of the people who create, share, and listen to it. Understanding and playing music are important life skills and a gifts that should be nurtured and shared like any other talent.

Learning how to play music opens doors to new experiences, presents opportunities for growth, and unlocks ways to express yourself creatively. Through music you create new connections with people, languages, and cultures - not to mention new connections in your brain! Learn from the best! We maintain a staff of dedicated and caring instructors who take a sincere interest in their students' development as both musicians and people. I highly recommend Centre Music House to anyone who wants to learn how to play a musical instrument.

Twice each year we host the Student Showcase, a capstone event where students prepare a song of their choice and perform it in front of a live audience of family, friends, and fellow students. This event is limited to the first 100 students who sign-up. Q: I'm not sure what song I want to do. Can I still sign up?

The Centre Music House Open Mic is all about creating a welcoming, supportive, and laid back performance space for musicians of all ages and playing levels. It's great for the beginner musician who is looking for a low pressure environment to help calm the nerves and ease into performing. For seasoned performers, it's a fantastic way to experiment with new material and sharpen your skills. Since 2011, we've built an amazing community of open mic-ers who love getting together to share music and each other's company.
