The South Bay Conservatory is a non-profit educational organization committed to bringing aspiring artists of all ages and levels of ability into the rewarding environment of the performing arts. Founded in 1964 to supply music instruction to students residing in the South Bay and surrounding communities, over a period of years the Conservatory extended to include dance and musical theatre with a faculty of more than thirty accomplished professional musicians, dancers, and educators who teach and perform throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

Opus Music of South Bay is situated in pretty Old Torrance. We specialize in everthing necessary to foster a life-long love affaire with music. Opus Music began out in 2003 as a music academy. Since then, we currently have grown our program to include in-house recitals, group lessons, instrument sales, rentals and repairs!

Founder of Peaceland Music Located in Torrance, California, Peaceland Music offers instruction on guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and digital audio recording techniques to students of all ages at various levels of proficiency. Private consultation and transcription services are available from Peaceland.

Please continue working on the Certificate of Merit theory books for everyone that will be enrolled in CM this year. Books need to be completed by October, and no later than December. We will begin working on technique early this year, in the fall.

Fall 2009 Scholarship A uditions have been announced. THE PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS PSA is situated thirty minutes S of Hollywood in Old Downtown Torrance. PSA offers classes and superb training in dance, voice, acting and music theatre. Our faculty are all working stage specialists, many with international reputations.
