I recall my facination with the invisible world of sounds when I was a child. Then I found a guitar in the attic of our house in New Jersey, and at age seven I knew I'd found my instrument. It was a favorite uncle's abandoned 1950 Gibson Kalamazoo with f-holes.


Michelle's warmth, her patience, and her gentle manner are so encouraging and she has consistently introduced varied, interesting music. Her teaching methods have led to Maya's development as a pianist who plays with feeling, with skill, and most wonderfully, with the confidence a talented teacher can inspire in a child.
