Established in 2000, Vivace Music Academy has been making a difference in helping kids and adults acquire musical knowledge, evolve nice study habits and enhance cognitive abilities.

Since 1997 1000's of students have taken dance classes or music lessons at our 2 different locations, more than at any other studio in San Antonio or Bulverde. We began as a very tiny school but have expanded to become the biggest dance and music school in the San Antonio area. We do not believe we are the finest because we are the largest.

He has composed music for the stage, films, television, commercials, and record albums. He was conductor-arranger for many celebrities including Florence Henderson, Shari Lewis, Bobby Van, Elaine Joyce, the Four Preps, etc.

Owner and teacher, Lois Jensen, is a key teacher for the Yamaha Music Education System, U.S.A. Currently, JYMS has approximately 200 students varying from 4 to adult. You'll find our graduates excelling in bands, orchestras, choirs, and colleges across Texas. Jensen's Yamaha Music School is a research and development center for Yamaha Corporation's Music Education System YMES.

Jayna will graduate in December with a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy and Education. Jayna has studied Vocal and Piano Jazz extensively. She began formal piano study at 5 years and has used her talent throughout high school and college.

Experience My guitar experience started with the generation that invented the garage band. Our developing interest in rock, blues and jazz put us to work in night clubs. At the age of 17 I started teaching in a music store owned by Spud Goodall. Master classes with Segovia, Julian Bream and Pepe Romero founded the foundation for 30 years of teaching at Trinity University.
