In January 1980, Edward Kreitman started teaching Suzuki violin lessons to the kids of the Western Suburbs from his home in LaGrange, Illinois. In June 1984, the school became an independent entity and the Western Springs School of Talent Education took up residency on the 3rd floor of the education building of the First Congregational Church of Western Springs.


Inna Spevak began learning music at the age of 5. She belongs to the generation of Russian pianists and teachers who began their music career in the late 80s. Inna studied and graduated from the Moscow Music Gnessin Teacher Institute. She gave performances in a various concerts, participated in piano competitions, used to conduct and was a choir accompanist.
