Born and raised in the Sacramento area, my mother taught me to play the piano as a child and I started formal lessons in college. Later, as an adult, I studied with Dilworth Simmons at the Pease Conservatory in Sacramento. He suggested that I try teaching piano and guided me in my 1st attempts.

Celebrating our tenth Year in Business in 2006! 2006 marks the tenth year of business for Folsom Piano Academy! Since 1996, over 600 students have taken piano lessons at FPA, more than any other studio in Folsom, Granite Bay or El Dorado Hills. We began as a very tiny school but have expanded to become the biggest and most comprehensive piano school in the greater Folsom area.
