The Conservatory of Central Illinois is the only not-for-profit community music school serving downstate Illinois. Located in downtown Champaign, The Conservatory opened its doors for instruction in August 1986. Vicki is a classically-trained violinist, having studied under Edgar Muenzer retired and Eric Wicks of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. During her senior year in high school, she was selected to be in the IMEA Orchestra that represented the US at the International Music Educators Conference in Dijon, France.
