Constantin Popescu, a double bassist, is a graduate of both the Bucharest Conservatory in Romania and of Juilliard School of Music.

The Center for Chamber Music CCM was established in 1975, in Greenwich, Connecticut. We are a non-profit organization that gifts a series of chamber music concerts in Greenwich throughout the year. We conduct an annual scholarship competition that gives cash awards to talented high school-age musicians who are interested in pursuing careers in music.
Since graduating from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1985 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Composition, I have been teaching guitar in Fairfield and Westport, Connecticut. I have performed in this local area, as well as in New York City and Hungary. My guitar style covers rock, blues, ethnic, jazz, and classical. I studied with the late Sal Salvador and the late Steve Janeczek.
I teach the fingerstyle technique and repertoire of classical guitar. This technique can be applied to different kinds of guitars and can serve as an excellent foundation to other musical styles, but can only be effectively learned on a true classical guitar.
