Isabelle Boggs, Director, Suzuki and traditional violin, viola, cello, suzuki group classes and music together.
Mrs. Boggs was born and spent the first twenty one years of her life in France. Since then, she has lived on three different continents: Europe, South America and North America and traveled all over the world. Her traveling taught her so much about other cultural groups and has given her a strong background to teach many different ethnic groups. She has been teaching private instrumental music as well as group classes to children and adults through her private studio, as well as teaching music courses, private lessons and group classes in strings and woodwind at Holyoke Community College and at Westfield State University.

The Suzuki method is recommended for young children. It is mandatory to take one private lesson a week and one monthly Suzuki ensemble in the instrument studied. Suzuki Talent Education or Suzuki Method combines a music teaching method with a philosophy, which embraces the total development of the child. Dr Suzuki's guiding principle was "Character first, ability second".
Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program for children from birth through age 7—and the grownups who love them. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.
Music Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical. All children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence in the music of our culture, provided that their early environment supports such learning.
Westfield School of Music is a great place for anyone to learn music. Place is well kept, teachers are friendly and fun to learn with. Lessons are priced competively and fair. Recommended.
