Westfield Studio of Strings and Flute is a privately owned music studio located in Western Massachusetts, only 20 min from Connecticut. The goal is to provide quality instruction in music education in a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages musical excellence in a non-competitive environment.

Isabelle Boggs, Director, Suzuki and traditional violin, viola, cello, Suzuki group classes.
Mrs. Boggs was born and spent the first twenty one years of her life in France. Since then, she has lived on three different continents: Europe, South America and North America and traveled all over the world. Her traveling taught her so much about other cultural groups and has given her a strong background to teach many different ethnic groups and contribute to a quality music education. She has been teaching private instrumental music as well as group classes to children and adults through her private studio, as well as teaching music courses, private lessons and group classes in strings and woodwind at Holyoke Community College and at Westfield State University.

We are experienced musicians with a classy attitude that will perform a rich repertoire and will accommodate all your requests. There will be no fifth lesson. If a month has five weeks instructors will use this extra day to either take some time off or do a make up if we have to rescheduled some lessons. Students of WMS enroll for a minimum of one month and the payment for the first month is due prior to the first lesson. Scheduling is subject to teacher availability. Students may preregister for the upcoming term. Students can enroll at any time on a month to month basis. Starting music earlier rather than later is wonderful for your child's brain development. Starting music at 5 years old is a gift that your child will have forever. Westfield Studio of Strings and flute is now offering Strings for young children, which is a holistic approach for teaching general musicianship and bowed strings to children from the ages of 5 years old and up. Pre-Twinkle Strings program for young children enhances reading and aural skills, which is engaging, interactive and tremendous fun!
