Rory O'Halloran is a bagpiper and bagpipe instructor in The Dalles, Oregon. "Warpipes" was the name given to bagpipes in ancient Ireland. In addition to over thirty years of piping experience Rory has been a high school teacher and varsity coach for over thirty years. He performs at many civic and private events throughout the year.
The Columbia River Gorge area benefits from his many talents. In addition to playing the bagpipes, he performs tin whistle and vocals in "Barley Draught" a local Irish folk band. Warpipes School of Piping has grown from the overwhelming number of people who have requested bagpipe lessons from Mr. O'Halloran. He views it as an opportunity to give back to the community while promoting the bagpipes and Irish/Celtic music. You can hire a bagpiper at reasonable prices for weddings, funerals, birthdays, baptisms, parties, etc. "The pipes, the pipes are calling!"
