Kevin and Glenn are super friendly, competent, and talented teachers and musicians. Their lessons are low stress and fun, and I’ve progressed to being able to jam with other musicians, which is the best.

Everyone from the owners (who teach as well) to the teachers and support staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Our 9yo son has been taking piano and violin lessons for over a year and he enjoys his time there. Maybe dad can pick up the guitar again and grow a pony tail. uh NO.

The best experience my kids had while they were exploring music in grade and middle school. Fun for me too when I can jam with Glenn.

Everyone here is so incredibly kind and talented. They have a variety of private and group classes offered, as well as instrument repairs, room rentals, and instrument rentals. It really is a one stop shop, with the added benefit of nurturing and helpful staff.

For my mother's birthday I got her harmonica lessons. She had the best time and learned so much! I won't go anywhere else for lessons. They are so friendly and treat us like family. I personally took lessons at a couple other places and they will never stack up to the teachers at The School of Music! This really is the best place for lessons!

This place is awesome! Kevin is a great teacher and Glenn has a sense of humor! They let me play their guitars in the waiting lounge while waiting to be picked up. I even liked them on facebook. :D

This is a great school for those who are looking to become good musicians and have fun at the same time! All the teachers are really professional and have a great personality. It's a place where you can feel comfortable. I always look forward to my next lesson. :

I've been taking lessons at the School of Music for over 4 years now, and I could not give a higher recommendation to this place- it is an absolutely wonderful school to learn an instrument! Founder and instructor Kevin Mittleman is a top guy with chops to spare, and he makes the process of learning guitar both fun and intuitive. Lessons at the School of Music are loosely structured, meaning that they leave a lot of room for you to learn what YOU want to play and understand. Having worked with a handful of private instructors before in piano and other instruments, I can say without hesitation that the teachers at the School of Music are the most fun and easy to work with. You cannot go wrong with taking lessons here.

I took drum lessons here for about two and a half years and I enjoyed learning how to play at a steady pace that was fit for me. The teachers here are reliable and experienced, and the owners of this school are wonderful people. The teachers here treat the students as friends, rather than treating them as "students" in normal schools, so there is very little awkwardness involved between the students and teachers during lessons. I loved taking lessons at The School of Music and I recommend it to anyone, novice or experienced, who wishes to pursue music.

This is my son's first formal music lessons. He is enrolled in classes for two different instructments and really like his music teachers who are very personable. I would highly recommend the School of Music for adult or kids lessons.

Over the last few months I've been taking lessons at The School of Music. Everyone there is super friendly, and very down to earth. Glen (my instructor) is relaxed, patient, and very good at teaching! Although I have not had lessons with anyone else, I am assuming the same based on what I have heard. I have improved dramatically since I started taking lessons and I have The School of Music to thank for that! I would definitely recommend them to ANYONE of ANY skill level looking for music instruction!
