The Community Music School offers a variety of music education, including private lessons, group classes, and ensembles.

The Music Center is a unique blending of performance and educational opportunities into one musical family. At The Music Center you can participate in choirs, take lessons and classes, and attend symphony concerts through one organization. Founded in 2000, this was the ultimate artistic collaboration, ensuring the sustainability of the arts in Calhoun County for generations to come.
The Music Center is committed to providing access and assistance to those with disabilities. Unfortunately, we perform in venues that we do not own, so sometimes accessibility issues are not in our control. The Music Center: Accessible parking at The Music Center is clearly marked in the parking lot adjacent to the building.
To the Community of Battle Creek and Calhoun County; to our friends in music; to all those who are suffering from the ugliness of racism throughout America, this letter is for you. Our hearts are breaking for all of us at this time. While some of us think about racism only in times when it's in the news, many of our brothers and sisters of color face it every hour of every day.
The Music Center creates beautiful music and offers educational and engagement opportunities to appreciate music. What is truly unique to The Music Center is our application of music as a tool to create a better Battle Creek/Calhoun County. A merger of non-profits in 2000 created a concentration of music arts: symphony and choral concerts, lessons and classes, ensembles to play in or listen to, collaboration and growth opportunities, life-altering experiences, and programs that influence the lives of children and adults of all ages and talent levels.
