We have several music teachers, all with either University or equivalent training and professional performance experience. Our music instructors are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. With more than one teacher for every instrument, we are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your needs. In addition to their teaching credentials, our instructors have warm personalities, are friendly, personable, and dedicated to teaching you the style of music you want to learn.

Our facility is stocked with all the materials and instruments you need for music lessons to insure proper learning. This includes amplifiers, stereos, full drum kits with pads, keyboards, pianos, and more. We just ask you to bring your instrument. If a situation occurs that prevents you from bringing your instrument, no problem. We have loaner guitars, violins, clarinets, drum sticks, and various other instruments available to use in the store. There's also no need to drive all around Tampa and Wesley Chapel to insure you have the proper instrument, books, and materials before you start your first lesson. You can purchase everything you need right at Bigel Music.

Piano Lessons

Our piano teachers teach a variety of styles from classical to popular music. Whether you want to learn a classical sonatina, rock chords, or popular sheet music, our teachers are happy to help you become the pianist you want to be. Our piano faculty will show you the fundamentals of sight reading, technique and theory, but they will also incorporate your favorite songs into your lessons. Our piano teachers have warm personalities and enjoy sharing their love for the piano with you.

Guitar Lessons

Our guitar teachers teach rock, blues, metal, country and classical guitar lessons on electric and acoustic guitars. Beginner students can expect to work on chords, simple songs and melodies, sight reading, and theory. We balance musicianship and fun by making sure that each lesson you are challenged with a new technical or theory concept, but always end with something fun such as your favorite riff or song. We use a variety of guitar method books to accomplish this and encourage students to bring CDs or their iPod to their lesson to learn their favorite tunes.

Voice Lessons

Our private voice teachers primarily focus on popular music and musical theatre songs. If you have always wanted to be a better rock, pop, country, jazz, gospel, theatre, or R&B singer, then we have the right voice teachers for you!

Voice students spend time each week doing physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more.

Our drum instructors will teach rock, metal, jazz, funk, blues and many other styles. Drum language can be complex and our instructors will challenge any drummer with a wide variety of technical exercises designed to improve your speed and comfort. All drummers may bring in their favorite drum parts to learn in their lessons and theory is encouraged.

Customer Testimonials

Tiffany LOVES her voice lessons AND her teacher! I like the ability to take lessons month to month and not be held to a lengthy contract. I would recommend anyone and everyone to Bigel Music!

Mr. Aaron is an awesome guitar teacher! He taught my son how to play guitar. Now, he is able to pick up songs easily like he has been playing for years!

My son takes violin lessons here and loves it. Great, friendly staff and he really loves his instructor, David. My son is only five so a lot of patience is needed with him and he receives it. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for lessons.

My teacher is a patient man that is willing to teach anyone who wants to learn. He teaches you new techniques and shows you music theory. Helping you improve. He also is a kind man and is very patient. He takes time out of his way to organize concerts for his students. He truly is a great teacher.

Both of my children take music lessons at Tampa Fine Arts Academy. They do both violin and voice lessons. They have been a great fit for us from the very beginning. Not only have my children learned a lot, but Larry Bigel is very willing to work with us on scheduling issues. I highly recommend Tampa Fine Arts Academy.

Awesome Place – Tampa Fine Arts Academy is a high quality place for musical instruction. Every instructor and employee show great attention and compassion to everyone the minute they walk through the door. Larry Bigel, the owner, is a fantastic guy who will always treat you like a great friend. The atmosphere is great for individuals of all ages. My personal experience has been nothing short of amazing. My bass guitar instructor is a very knowledgeable musician who encourages me to ask questions. Try finding that at another instructional studio. Believe me, it's rare! Awesome. That's the perfect word to sum up Tampa Fine Arts Academy. Thanks guys!
