This group class will help your child learn to play in a fun setting with other kids. Classes are 45 minutes in length and the Semester runs 12 weeks with a 3 week break in between. Space for 6 only. Students only. These classes are already open for registration.

Classes are held either on a Monday or Friday early evening (from 5:30pm-6:15pm) in the Moxee area (at this time.)

Piano Keyboard Summer Camp Classes for ages 5- 6 years, 7 - 8 years and 9 - 10 years. This 5 day camp (usually done in 3 days one week and 2 in the next) introduces your child to the piano keyboard in a small group setting with 3-6 children.

Your child will be learning rhythms, keyboard geography and note reading using hands on games, rhythmic movements and other fun activities. Participants will learn to play simple songs that will set the foundation for future success on the piano. This is a great opportunity to try the piano in a fun, non- threatening setting.

We will have a recital for parents on the last day. Children will receive a music book along with the cost of the camp that will motivate them to keep practicing until a new group class starts again in the fall. Cost: $75 includes materials. Classes held in Moxee and Yakima Areas.

$55 / month (flat fee per month) - fee based on 4 lessons per month. 5th week in month is free if you make the rest of the month or used as a make up day for missed days. Times will vary on the opening available.

In Private instruction, the student has a 30 minute time all to him/herself with the instructor. They will learn to read notes, read rhythms and play their chosen instrument. If taking vocal lessons, the student will learn to breath correctly, read rhythms, notes and play simple notes on the keyboard to help them understand the relationship between singing and an instrument. VERY valuable in helping learn the correct pitches in singing. When you involve the whole body in an activity you will process the information much better.
