Private Lessons

Fee is a flat fee per month - fee based on 4 lessons per month. 5th week in month is free if you make the rest of the month or used as a make up day for missed days. Times will vary on the opening available. Please call or email for current pricing however we attempt to keep it as affordable as possible.

In Private instruction, the student has a 30 minute time all to him/herself with the instructor. They will learn to read notes, read rhythms and play their chosen instrument.

If taking vocal lessons, the student will learn to breathe correctly, read rhythms, notes and play simple notes on the keyboard to help them understand the relationship between singing and an instrument. VERY valuable in helping learn the correct pitches in singing. When you involve the whole body in an activity you will process the information much better.

Summer Fun in Yakima Washington with a small group piano to get you started to see if you enjoy learning piano / keyboard. Ages 6 to Senior - You're NEVER too old to learn something new. ;-)

Small group is a non threatening atmosphere to learn a few basics. Youngest children will earn some simple songs and some notes and of course keyboard "geography" to help them learn the keys. Adults and teens will learn some chords as well. This will help you decide if you enjoy the instrument BEFORE spending a lot on private lessons. Then if you enjoy it, private lessons are available or you can stick with a group lesson if that's for you.
