Summit Music Studios is a new, private music instruction studio situated in Northfield Center, OH. Opened in May of 2009, Summit Music studios is owned and run by local guitarist and instructor Chris Matyus. At the time, Chris had been teaching in northeast Ohio for over 14 years and decided to use the knowledge and experience he gained to open his own studio. Summit Music Studios currently provides private and group music lessons for all ages on most instruments and voice. Lessons are taught in large, nice rooms by qualified, professional instructors who have years of teaching and performing experience.
Summit Music Studios is located at 28 W. Aurora Rd. (Rt. 82) in Northfield Center, OH. Our goal is to offer a fun, positive and productive musical learning experience for all students. Please give us a call for more information.

Lessons at the studio are taught by instructor Chris Matyus. Chris has over 20 years of guitar instruction experience. He holds a degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Akron and was an adjunct faculty instructor at Cuyahoga Community College.
Lessons are available for electric, acoustic and classical guitar as well as bass and banjo. Learn about technique, reading music, scales, theory, harmonizing, soloing, songwriting, arranging and more. Or just learn to play your favorite songs! All ages, levels and styles are welcome! From beginners to advanced players looking for a little more, Chris has the experience and knowledge to provide results!
