Welcome to Studio C! Cassandra recently graduated with honors from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, earning a Master of Music in Voice Performance. She also holds a Bachelor of Music, from Arizona State University. An emerging opera singer herself, Cassandra will be singing with the Arizona Opera in the Spring 2014.
Cassandra is available for private voice lessons serving the Phoenix metro area in Tempe, Arizona. Students learn to let go of inhibitions, release tensions, find a natural voice, and let that voice grow. Studying both classical and music theater repertoire and techniques, students develop right, free breathing, a supported tone, and an agile voice suitable for any genre of singing.
Cassandra is very down to earth and relatable, and creates an encouraging learning environment. Lessons include breathing exercises, a variety of vocalises aimed to strengthen the voice, repertoire in multiple languages, musical expression, and sight singing. Also a violinist, lover of music theater, jazz, opera, all things DIY and outdoors, Cassandra offers a well rounded approach to music lessons. Dedicated students always love to pet the house chinchilla after lessons too!t
