Welcome to Strand Studios for Music, Film and Acting! An Educational Center conceived by Prof. Chris Lance for learning and fun in Music, Performance and the Media Arts. The Studio offer weekly lessons, classes and seminars. Film Production workshops include making a student film film from script to screen. Acting classes prepare student for the stage or on screen. The Studio has a plethora of seminars and topics for the entertainment enthusiast!

Products & Services
Instruction is offered in Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion, Guitar, Voice, Music Theory, Jazz Studies and Performance. To ensure the forward progression of a student's study, we recommend a minimum of one 30 minute lesson once a week, customizable to the goals and needs of the student.
Weekly and monthly rates. Family discounts available as well.
Students are invited participate in free recitals that are scheduled twice a year at the discretion of their instructor.
Rehearsal rooms are available for individuals and bands at a nominal fee.
Students who are homeschooled according to N. J. S. 18A:38-25 and need to fulfill music requirements may request an outside educator. While the The State of New Jersey does not require home school teachers to be certified educators, Strand Studios will provide a New Jersey Department of Education Certified Music Teacher (Pre-K through 12) to teach in your home or at your local home school co-op.
Strand Studios offers competative pricing for instrument rentals. Our Try-Before-You-Buy rental program saves money when deciding if an instrument is right for you.

Social Activity
Strand Studios had their first rehearsal for Medieval Christmas Choir last night, but there is still time to join! The choir meets weekly on Wednesday's from 7:30-8:30pm. Intermediate and advanced singers are welcome. For more information, you can call
