Fantastic selection of ukuleles and amazing service! Can we talk about how helpful Robert, the store owner was?!?! I spent hours in his shop trying to decide on a uke. This man tuned the ones I couldn't get right, he must have played a half dozen of them for me so I could hear the differences, he talked to me about the tones, the woods, the origin, the warranty!

He helped me find the perfect instrument and I went home a very happy customer. I'll be going back to Stoughton Music Center with my son for a new guitar. You won't find that level of service and attention anywhere else!

Man I wish I could remember the guys name that just set up the two guitars for me, since the day I bought this beautiful American Stratocaster it has not felt as good in my hands as it does right now sitting in front of my computer. I forget sometimes how important it is to make sure your guitar is set up right and it's hard to find the right guy.

When you barely have to press a string to get a good tone it allows you to work with the instruments so much more. I've been looking for a good guitar set up guy for a few years now, this is the right guy.

A great shop in Stoughton, they have an excellent selection of ukuleles and nylon string guitars. Not to mention their huge selection of instrument parts, books, and the lessons they offer!

Took bass lessons here with a not-so-nice teacher. I wanted to learn songs, he wanted to teach me the fundamentals of reading music and such. 3 stars for being an alternative to Guitar Center.

Small place with few guitars from lesser known manufacturer. Great ukulele section. They cater more towards lessons, pianos, small mix of other instruments, etc. Not a typical guitar store but worth checking out.

It's one of the very few music stores that are open on Sunday. The prices for their reeds is far more reasonable and inline to what they should be. My son had to get bari saxophone reeds for his instrument. We've gone to stores in Westborough (closer to home) in which we paid $36 for 1 reed. Il repeat 1 reed for$36. At this store, he was able to buy 6 reeds for $32. Definitely will buy from here again.

This is a music store for band instruments, lessons, learning materials and ukuleles, as well as classical guitars and student grade violins and cellos. It's not a guitar based music store at all. The selection of ukuleles is probably the best in the state.

I do recommended this store based on their great selection of Kala Ukuleles. I have to detract for the experience that I had with the salesperson. I drove a long way to get to the store arriving at 7:00 on a night when they close at 8:30. I sat down to try out the selection of baritone ukes. The salesperson provided a clip on tuner for me to tune the various models and that’s were the good service ended.

Instead of providing a helpful atmosphere he proceeded to play his own guitar at high volume from a few feet away. This made it impossible for me to tune or try any of the instruments with any degree of success. My frustration grew until I was forced to say something. I did make a purchase because they had the model that I was most interested in but the experience was not what I hoped for. I had also intended to look for a Tenor Ukulele as a gift to my daughter. My frustration at that point cut my visit short.

Excellent music shop. But it's not just a music shop, that category belies it's true nature. It has music lessons onsite at very reasonably priced rates, friendly courteous staff who don't look down their noses at folks with no musical background, which is refreshing. Their merchandise onsite is priced within the reach of working families. 10/10 would recommend this as a first stop for anyone.

I've wanted a cello for a while but the only places I could find on the Internet from Maine to Massachusettes sold them for no less than 30,000$, and I didn't want to risk ordering one online and having it break. Stoughton music center had a really nice cello, bag and bow combo for a really great price. Would highly recommend for buying a cello!

Stoughton Music Center is unique because the ownership has published their own music and worked with people like 2 time Grammy award winner Lori McKenna. If you need something nobody else has call Bob at Stoughton Music Center and he'll get what you need!

Horrible experience with an employee who has no sensitivity for families with special needs. Missed an opportunity to help a child with a passion for music get exposure to the wonderful instruments in the store and lessons. The owner should know the wall that this person put up and unwillingness to help a child in need.

Awesome place. Knowledgeable staff. The owner, Bob, is so friendly and really knows the products he sells. Always helpful. This is my favorite place for music supplies when I'm on the east coast. They also give private music lessons for anyone interested. I recommend this place for everyone looking for music supplies or lessons on the east coast. and you can reach them on line too. You don't even have to be in Stoughton. You can't beat that. Awesome place. Awesome!

This is the worst music store I've been to in New England. I brought my cello to replace a string, I paid $20 for the string and $10 for the labor, the next day I went back to ask for re tuning the cello, the man kept yelling at me and told me to tune it myself. And I asked him for advice on how to tune my cello, he said there is none, no technics, just do it. I will never go back to this stinky store and super bad customer service ever again. If I can give 0 Star, this is what they deserved.

I had a really great experience at the stoughton music center. The owner was there and he was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. He was able to fix my guitar and make it play like new. I highly recommend this store.

This store has been in business for many years. I have purchased over 20 guitars from this establishment. All have been first rate. There are instruments for all ages- for fun or for the serious musician. The owner, Bob, is terrific. He will beat any legitimate price from other establishments. If you are looking for a fine music store, I guarantee you will not be disappointed at Stoughton Music.

We went in looking for a violin for my son. Because we have a lot of kids (who we were watching like a hawk) the owner made us feel unwelcome. Also, they advertise selling Kentucky mandolins, and they don't. We also bought a harmonica and not all the notes worked. (update) The owner contacted us and sent us 2 replacement harmonicas. Stoughton Music Center is on Kentucky Mandolins website as a dealer, the store themselves do not advertise as a dealer.
