Our kids have enjoyed taking music lessons at Staump for many years now! The instructors are upbeat and friendly and teach in a way that makes learning an instrument fun. We appreciate that the teachers are often able to tailor the private lessons to the musical interests or personalities of the students and are able to teach multiple instruments. Our kids have benefited greatly from being part of the Staump family. They look forward to their lessons each week and have grown greatly as musicians. We highly recommend Staump to anyone in the area looking for a music school!

All three of my kids have been taking lessons at Staump for the past few years. One takes guitar, one drums, and one voice, and they all love it. I can’t believe how far they’ve come since they started. Right now we’re doing Zoom lessons due to COVID, but it’s still something they love and look forward to, plus it breaks up the monotony of having to be stuck at home. The concerts that Staump puts on twice a year are amazing. Really something that we all look forward to. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The Staump musicians are more than just amazing teachers, they are really good people. We completely trust Tim, Wes, and their teammates our son’s well being and growth. Music is challenging, and Wes makes it fun and rewarding. He’s always positive, patient, and encouraging. We plan to continue with Staump until our son heads off to college.

We love Staump music school! My son has been taking lessons there for years and has had the opportunity to work with multiple teachers for both drum and guitar. All of them have been fantastic. They provide quality music training while staying relevant and current. They keep kids at the center of everything and give all of their students the opportunity to shine and perform in the community. I also love that they give back to the community. If you're looking for music lessons this is the place to be!

My 8 year old son started the rock band music lessons there February 2020. I have to say, that the music teachers are very talented, and also very patient with the kids. I have observed while they play, and they are all having so much fun, while learning. Mr. Wes does such a great job keeping them focused and on track as well. I am very impressed with how much my son has learned in a short amount of time. We often see the owner Tim Staump, as we are dropping our son off for his lesson, and he comes to chat with us and say hello when he’s not busy. Everyone is so friendly and personable. Such a great vibe in there!

My Daughter has been a student for almost 2 years and she loves everything about the atmosphere it is her favorite place to be. She gets to be around other kids with the same passion for music and the teachers are nurturing and give great feed back. My daughters confidence has grown not just with music but in her everyday life.

Customer Testimonials

I have been a student for about 4 years now. This was not the first music school I had tried so I was skeptical about trying out this place. However, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the teachers and other students have basically become family. They have helped me nurture my love for music and ultimately helped me decide that I wanted to pursue music as a career path. Whether or not your looking to make music a career or just play as a hobby, there is no other place I would recommend.

I have been a part of Staump Music School for over 10 years now. Staump provides students with an in-depth focus on the theory of music in which they can further utilize in performance and production areas. This music school nurtures students' musical ability at any level and pushes them to succeed which also builds character and basic life skills. I highly recommend this establishment as every teacher is kind, caring, considerate, serves as a positive role model, and influences on others these characteristics as well.

Truly a supportive and positive atmosphere for students. I love the opportunities our daughter has to perform for an audience. She is learning so much more than just music from the staff at Staump, lessons that will help her in all aspects of life. Grateful for everything they do here!

We started drum just this summer! So happy with this company and our instructor Mr. Wesley, our boy has some special needs and they are so good with him. Happy, happy to have found them!

I've been a student of Maria's for 6 years and she has taught me so much! She always makes learning fun and gives you reasons on why you need to learn it, which I always see down the line! The atmosphere of the music school is always happy and fun and makes you want to be there and stay there. I recommend this great music school to everyone who wants to learn something about music and have fun doing so!

My daughter attends their Tuesday night FREE choir class. Before she started choir she was very timid and very shy. Since she joined she has come out of her shell and totally has such passion for music. I am so very thankful for this opportunity. The teachers there are AMAZING!!
