Over the past 10+ years, Starline has assembled the best staff of teachers available to the Stoughton area. At Starline, we are focused on finding the best teachers to teach your child and assist in his or her growth. Although accolades and accomplishments are important the focus always has been and always will be on creating a supportive atmosphere where your child can have fun and learn at the level and speed they deserve. Rayna has been with Starline since 2007 and is a graduate of The University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education.

Private Music instruction is one of the best ways for young musicians to continue their education in the arts. Students commit to a half hour (or hour if you prefer) time slot weekly and the year culminates with recitals in both Voice and Piano in our theatre with a baby grand piano, microphones and theatre lights. There are also multiple, optional performance opportunities throughout the year. For 2020-2021- Students have the option to take lessons virtually or in person with social distance measures in place.

Instructional activities will help the child work on gross motor skills, balance and musicality. Imaginative movement through stretching will be incorporated and the child will be encouraged to develop connections with classmates. Class is filled will lots of energy and creativity to keep the child's mind and attention engaged. Basic ballet fundamentals will be included. Fun is a must at this age and your child will love it! These classes are designed for the beginner dancer with the child in mind.

The theatre, located on the top floor studio of the Academy, offers Production, Musical Threatre and Private Music students the ability to rehearse and perform in a real stage setting. The three Private Music lesson rooms are all furnished with full sized pianos and our piano students enjoy weighted keys and pedals. For the recital, both disciplines enjoy use of a baby grand piano in our theatre upstairs. Both dance studios have sprung dance floors, full sized mirrors and tools and markings to assist our students in coordination and spatial recognition.
