If you want to learn how to play the guitar, are a lover of all things music, and want to learn the basics, or want to dive deeply into how to play, come to The South Bay School of music. Mark Fitchett and his crew are the best in the South Bay at teaching you everything from initial chord construct to advanced techniques. Mark is a great teacher (as they all are) and his patience with me is incredible.

So many styles I want to learn, folk and rock mostly, they support it all. I feel welcome and less frustrated whenever I get a lesson from them. Highly recommend these guys, if you are a young person or young at heart like me, a great place to learn and enjoy the magic of playing music.

From The Administrative Assistant "I am proud to say that I have been the administrative assistant at the South Bay School of Music for almost 7 years. I would like to take the time to say that Both of our schools, from "Rock" to "Bach", with the dedication and talent of our instructors, will help you meet your goals. They are top notch and hard to come by.

They really make sure the lesson is geared towards the individual. That includes, pace, style, and what your over all goals are. As an employee, there is a solid family envrionment. It doesnt hurt that Musicians tend to be more laid back in general, so it's a very calming atmosphere, which you can feel right when you walk though the doors. We are very lucky to have this team of accomplished musicians teaching at both of our locations. See for yourself!"
