Hi there, i am Richard Fredricks and I am going to tell you what I offer as a voice teacher/ coach. Firstly, i will teach you how to take a proper breath. Seven out of ten singers, per my experience, breathe backwards. Even though a few of them have the talent to overcome this fact, have significant careers and are capable to produce an acceptable package.

I had sung Germont, in La Traviata for a Matinee at the Metropolitan and then, in the evening, I sang the Pagliacci across the Plaza at the New York City Opera, which was also broadcast on radio. The orchestra was a bit heavy but. I'm Richard Fredricks and with me you will find the voice teacher/vocal coach in Los Angeles who has done it all from rap, pop to grand opera. If you need to improve your voice as a classical or pop singer or to strengthen your voice for the theater or public speaking or if you are a beginner who just wants voice lessons for a shot at "American Idol", give me a call!
Two years ago I developed a node on a vocal chord by singing through a serious case of laryngitis. Big mistake! Dr. Berke, at UCLA Medical Center, prescribed a year of vocal rest, which I took. The node disappeared completely. After this vocal rest, I found it difficult to control my voice the way I used to. A friend of mine told me about Richard Fredricks. He helped me tremendously. After just a few sessions, he had me sounding like my old self again. If you are a singer who wants to sound like your old self again, by all means go see Richard Fredricks.
