I teach private voice lessons. I focus on technique, helping the student strengthen their voice through proper placement and breath support. I teach all ages and styles though I am a trained opera singer with a Masters in voice performance from Northwestern University. I get great results from my students!

I teach vocal technique in Jersey City, NJ. I help singers strengthen their voices through proper breath support and placement. I teach all ages and styles of music, though I myself am a trained opera singer with a Masters in voice performance at Northwestern University. I get great results from my students! In February two of my students are singing solos at Carnegie Hall on the AFAF awards concert.
I started lessons, for the first time in my life, in January 2013. Until then, I always liked my voice. Now, LOVE it. I come away from every lesson humbled by what I did not know and excited by what I have learned. She is a genuinely gifted teacher. Her persistence and meticulousness is exceeded only by her patience and good humor.

Most audition judges are eager to hear any singer whose repertoire choices show some musical curiosity and a sense of adventure. Why choose only the "standard" five arias in your Fach for one audition after another? There's so much repertoire out there waiting for you! OK, your "list of five" shouldn't all be arias found off the beaten track, but one or two would certainly be welcomed by those auditioning you. In today's industry, it's vital to make an impression that engages your audience behind the table, online or in person (a boy can dream, can't he?).
