Welcome to the ProMusic Conservatory, a regional school providing professional training in the musical arts. The Conservatory offers individual lessons, classes and ensembles for the study and performance of music for all ages. The Conservatory was founded in 1998 as the ProMusic Center Community Music School serving the immediate area in Wilson County, North Carolina.Beginning with an emphasis on early childhood music enrichment and a children^s choir, the program has grown to include three levels of early childhood music enrichment classes, individual lessons on most instruments, multiple choirs, a senior citizens ensemble, a chamber music series, and summer music camps.

Services
Early Childhood Music Enrichment Classes are designed to facilitate the development of language, analytical and creativity skills and coordination through the study of music. Research indicates that long-term participation in music instruction enhances spatial, verbal and analytical skills while developing creative thinking skills.
Lessons are currently on line or in person with masks, sanitization, and physical distance. Individual lessons nurture the student's technical and musical development while learning the literature appropriate to the instrument. Private lessons offer individuals the opportunity to develop the appropriate technique for their instrument, to study the literature from various musical periods and styles and to learn about the history of their instrument.Participants may elect to receive one 30, 45 or 60 minute private lesson per week.
Ensembles offer individuals an opportunity to make music while learning about the music they are performing. Participants learn the importance of good listening skills and how to be sensitive to the total musical composition. The ensembles will perform for selected community events and will participate in two concerts per year for the general community.
