You are wasting your money on lessons unless you have a great teacher with a great program. With excellent instructors and learning techniques students grow at an accelerated rate, cutting their learning time dramatically (and the amount of money ultimately spent on lessons). In our studios, you will have a personable player as a teacher, who crafts our program to enable you to play or sing the music you love, not the music your teacher likes.
Our teachers have observed over 100 student lessons, they have learned and follow the Promethean curriculum for their instruments, and have played an average of 15 years. Promethean teachers are career musicians; they’re dedicated players and singers skilled in their art, who understand what it feels like to want to make music. Our methods teach people to become great while having a blast. Our students become musicians and players or singers who like what they’re doing, not just people who take lessons. And they get to play and sing the songs they love while still learning correct techniques.
BANDS: In addition to private lessons we offer various styles of bands. Be in a band (4 to 10 students) that plays music you love with other people your age, like yourself, and with a teacher to lead, supervise, and critique. You’ll play cool songs, maybe get a chance to improvise or write a song with the group. Your band will meet once a week for 4 months and culminate in a live performance which will be recorded and you’ll get a CD. All instruments are welcome, not just ones we teach - Guitar • Keyboard-Piano • Voice • Drums • Bass • Winds • Strings!! Styles of bands offered are Country, Jazz, Classic Rock, Classical, Modern Rock, R & B, Praise & Worship, Blues, and Metal.
Also currently offering Summer Rock Band, Guitar, Voice, Piano, Songwriting, Bass, and Drum Camps starting June 8th through the summer! See our site for details about summer camps.

| Private Lessons Private lessons are just that, sessions where you and your teacher alone learn about and perform music. Most of our students take private lessons because these are the most beneficial lessons possible. You are the focus of these lessons and your goals, your music, and your pace are what matters. Normal private lessons are thirty or sixty minutes long, meeting once a week, although longer and more frequent sessions are available.
We offer private lessons - all styles, all levels, all ages in:
* Guitar - acoustic, classical, and electric.
* Voice - contemporary, rock, R&B, broadway, and classical
* Piano/Keyboards
* Drums & Percussion
* Bass
* Flute

You'll play or sing songs, maybe get a chance to improvise or write a song with the group. | E-Lessons If you only have time for lessons at odd hours or perhaps you don’t live near enough to one of our studios to take real-time lessons, you may be interested in E-lessons. E-lessons allow you to take lessons from any where in the world, at a time convenient for you. Using the internet, email, and sound files, students submit a weekly recording of their songs and exercises, and receive a weekly detailed commentary back from their teacher, along with any needed exercises and supplementary materials. Being essentially a private lesson, these are probably the most beneficial lessons short of private lessons in our studios. E-lessons are normally offered as 30 and 60 minute per week lessons, but longer and more frequent sessions are available.
We offer E-lessons for the following lessons - in all styles, all levels, all ages:
* Guitar - acoustic, classical, and electric.
* Voice - contemporary, rock, R&B, broadway, and classical
* Piano/Keyboards
* Bass
* Flute

Promethean Studios: Have fun, be awesome! |
Makes me confident, creative and knowledgeable, friends with all instructors. None I love Promethean Studios. I have been taking guitar lessons here for 5 years and I love it. Although I initially wanted to learn classical guitar, my instructor, Cory Hopkins, taught me to broaden my outlook on the world of music. Now I know some jazz and am learning a flamenco piece. Cory has taught me that while there are books and books on music, you only truly learn once you feel the music. I've completely gotten over my stage fright and even go in to work with my dad on Saturdays to play music in the background while his customers shop. Master classes and recitals couldn't make me nervous because I feel like I know everyone there and am playing for everyone, not just my instructor. Recitals are to show what you've learned, and learning is something to be proud of. But the best part about it all is that my teacher isn't the only one I know and feel comfortable around. The other instructors give me tips as well, even if they're just telling me that I play great and am learning lots, or giving me tips on how to pick out new strings. Promethean isn't the type to turn you away or make you feel scared. In fact, it's just like one big happy musical family. And that's the place you're going to want to be. :) Would you recommend this business to a friend? So many talented teachers. I have twelve year old twins, that have been taking guitar and Bass lessons for almost a year now, they have had an incredible experience, I have been amazed at how much they have learned in the time they have been taking the lessons. They have been in two recitals, they have had music seminars, they know theory, chords, are always eager to go to their lesson or band practice. Every teacher is incredible and very talented, I did a lot of asking around about the best place to take lessons, and almost everyone I asked said their experience had been that the teacher would pretty much just teach them to strum to their ipod music. I knew this was not what I wanted for my boys, and feel blessed that a friend of mine told me last summer that the studio did summer camps. I was so impressed with how easy they were to work with, and with my work schedule. They even let me rent guitars, so I wouldn't have to buy them if my boys decided they didn't want to sign up after the summer camp. That was not the case. They love it... i highly recommend it. It's AWSOME... Would you recommend this business to a friend? Yes | Value for money: | | | | Service & support: | | | | Quality: | | | | Location: | | | | Overall rating: | | Excellent |
