Friendly staff. Good selection of guitars. Had at least 3 left handed guitars, which was nice to see. Also had a few different amp tubes in stock.

Absolutely the best service. Needed to find a very specific item for my instrument (string tuner for my celtic lap harp) and while they didn't have it in store they were more than happy to order it for us. It came in quickly and contacted us immediately. Portman's always has the most professional and attentive staff.

We had a great experience when I took my son into the store to find new drumsticks and the young man in the percussion section was extremely helpful! We will go back for sure! I totally recommend.

Best service hands down. I brought my guitar in with some questions about issues I was having (I recently purchased it used from another store). Jeff, the guitar sales manager, spent over two hours working with me and meticulously servicing and making adjustments on my modest used acoustic. He brought her back to life. I may have bought her from somewhere else but my experience today reminded me what sets Portman's apart from the rest.

The guitar staff is excellent! Happy to help with advice and recommendations. I've brought my guitar in on at least three occasions for easy repairs, and Jeff and others helped me out on the spot. A truly nice group of folks!

Randy was an awesome sales associate when we came in to purchase a Casio Celviano AP-470 electric piano. He was very patient as we asked questions to ensure we were satisfied with our purchase. With customer service being at its lowest level, I can truly say that Randy showed us that customer service is not dead. He went beyond the standard expectation.

Visited Portman's last night to get a new guitar. I've played for years but I'm not really incredibly knowledgeable, so I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for, only that I wanted a new acoustic since I've been without one for a while. Jeff and Jeff (I'm pretty sure, I was a little buzzed) were incredibly helpful and answered all of my questions.

Once I settled on a Fender they helped me out with picking some back-up strings and a new case.perfectly sized at that.as well as a few other accessories. The Fender plays beautifully and I've been won over by their customer service too. Selection of acoustics, as far as brand variety, could be a little better, but I found something perfect for me anyway! You guys rock.and now, thanks to you, I get to as well!

Great store with great prices. The staff are friendly and they have really good selection of items. Location is right on Abercorn, which is pretty convenient. Plenty of parking.
