From Our Website

We have bells to jingle, castanets to hold and snap, bongos to pat, recorders and violins to play. Children can feel the textures of smooth woodblocks, cold metal triangles, scratchy sand blocks, bouncy balls, and bright maracas. Children can make and explore all different types of sounds -- a ticking clock, a tapping woodpecker, a snapping clam, a rolling bear, a chugging choo-choo, rain and thunder. You will learn to tap, strum, play and sing your favorite songs. The class will focus on singing whilst playing, reading music notation, and rhythmic patterns.

Avery Okamura is a graduate of the Sonoma State University music department. Studying under Eric Cabalo, he has been trained in classical guitar, as well as studying rock guitar from a young age. Avery has been writing and performing in rock bands around the Bay Area since the age of 13, and has experience as a session musician for pop artists such as Ivan B, Daisy Gray, among others. His teaching philosophy is to provide students with the knowledge to learn how to play what musically inspires them, while also helping the student to understand the theory behind the music.

We have some of the finest instructors you will find anywhere! All of our instructors are college educated, professional musicians who share their extensive musical knowledge with our students. They are caring and responsive to student needs and provide exceptional modeling of technical ability. Each of our instructors has a unique method. Please feel free to contact us about scheduling trial lessons with one or more of our instructors. We want to pair the right instructor to each student.
