During the Summer Music School @ PMP, Fellows supply essential support, supervision, and mentorship to sudents. First year master's candidate Julia Michelle Carrasco Barnett was born and raised in La Mesa, California. She received her Bachelor's of Music in flute performance from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University in 2007 as a student of Leone Buyse.
